Work–Life Balance for Young Adults

As young adults step into new responsibilities—whether starting college, entering the workforce, or managing independence for the first time—the challenge of balancing work, school, and personal life can feel overwhelming. This course is designed to provide practical tools and strategies that help participants create a healthy balance between their responsibilities and their personal well-being.

Through engaging, interactive lessons, students will learn how to:

  • Manage their time effectively by setting realistic goals, prioritizing tasks, and creating schedules that work for them.

  • Establish healthy boundaries with work, school, and relationships to avoid burnout and protect their mental health.

  • Identify stress triggers and practice proven stress management techniques such as mindfulness, organization, and self-reflection.

  • Recognize the importance of self-care, including sleep, nutrition, and leisure, as part of a sustainable lifestyle.

  • Build decision-making skills to confidently evaluate commitments and make choices that align with their goals and values.

By the end of this course, participants will not only understand the importance of work–life balance, but they will also have a personalized plan they can apply to their daily lives. This prepares them to succeed in their jobs, education, and personal relationships while maintaining the energy and confidence needed to thrive in adulthood.
