Empowering adults with essential life skills is crucial for their transition into adulthood.

**** Life Skills Series ****

Learning about Coming-of-Age Responsibilities:
As young adults transition into adulthood, understanding the importance of accountability and independence is crucial. This education encompasses various aspects of life, including exploring employment opportunities and post-graduation options that align with their goals and aspirations.

Financial Literacy Programs:
These programs offer essential knowledge in key areas such as budgeting, saving, and investing. Additionally, they cover important topics like insurance—health, car, and more—ensuring that young adults are well-prepared to make informed financial decisions. Credit training is also a vital component, teaching responsible borrowing and debt management, which are critical skills for navigating the complexities of credit systems and avoiding financial pitfalls.

Understanding Contracts:
Education in this area ensures that young adults can confidently and responsibly enter into agreements, whether for housing, employment, or services. This knowledge sets a strong foundation for a successful and independent future, reducing the risk of misunderstandings or unfavorable terms.

Exposure to ID, Travel, and Vehicle Ownership Requirements:
Young adults are also guided through the practical aspects of adulthood when
on the road, such as obtaining the necessary identification (ID), understanding travel requirements, and learning about the responsibilities and regulations involved in owning and maintaining a vehicle. These lessons are essential for their day-to-day independence and mobility.

By addressing these areas, we equip young adults with the tools and knowledge they need to confidently navigate the challenges of adulthood and build a successful future.

Course Structure

All of our Life Skills Courses are delivered through 45-minute live, interactive lessons that encourage participation, questions, and hands-on practice. The number of lessons varies by topic, typically ranging from 6 to 20 sessions to provide the right depth for each subject.

Scheduling is flexible—lessons can be completed in consecutive order, spread across multiple days, or offered on select evenings to accommodate different needs. This flexibility ensures participants can engage in learning without disrupting other responsibilities.
